One great thing about the Silent Partner is that so many of the powerful features are built right into the base product. Our modules are extra enhancements tailored for very specific needs.
This module allows you to handle sales of books, videos, CDs etc. through the Silent Partner. It includes inventory maintenance and tracking (with provision for multiple inventory locations), order entry, billing and payments. Taxes and shipping charges can be added automatically or manually. It also optionally prints packing slips and/or shipping labels. For credit sales, you can print invoices. You can establish a range of discount levels for wholesale customers.
The module keeps track of your inventory levels; you can set re-order levels for each item, and there is
a screen for recording received shipments, which will help you to keep your inventory amounts current. You can also create purchase orders for ordering from your suppliers.
The Bookstore module does not constitute a separate program to be run “on the side”, but when you purchase it, is fully integrated with your copy of the Silent Partner. Revenue from sales made through this module channel into your donation batches and thus become part of your overall revenue stream.
The sponsorship module maintains a list of children to be sponsored, and lets you create sponsorship relationships (including financial particulars) between children and donors. Sponsorship information includes payment amount, frequency and duration. When donations are entered, they can be assigned to the appropriate sponsorship, as one donor can sponsor multiple children and a child can have multiple sponsors.
The child data file includes name, birthdate, gender, (multiple) photographs, location, school level, status (Active or Inactive), financial requirements, and unlimited-length fields for aspirations, hobbies and personal/family history.
